ITF’s first Asian conference

ITF’s first Asian conference

On August 23, 2006, the regular meeting of the International Tennis Federation was held at the Xinluo Hotel, Zhongguan, Zhongguan District, Seoul. The meeting lasted for three days.

This is the first time the organization has held a plenary meeting in an Asian country. In order to make tennis more interesting, the International Network is fully carrying out the subdivision of the site specifications, the size of the ball, the size of the racket, etc., so that the tennis called the aristocratic movement is not restricted by age and nationality, so that people all over the world can enjoy the happiness it brings.

The International Network will continue to maintain the specifications and ball of the official venue, but the focus is on lowering the threshold so that the first time tennis players can easily master the tennis.

After voting on this issue at the meeting, the International Network will continue to discuss the issue of adjusting the professional tennis level for men and women that will be implemented in 2009.

Today’s men’s and women’s professional tennis tournaments are divided into 1 to 4 levels according to the total prize size. From 2009, they will be divided into A-level competitions and B-level competitions. Levels 1 and 2 with prizes of $1.3 million and more than $600,000 will be included in the A-level competition. The prizes of $350,000 and $35,000 are included in the B-level competition.
